The construction work is now complete, leaving just the furniture, IT equipment and stage lighting to complete before Huish Sixth is ready for the start of the new term. There’s a brief window of opportunity for the building to be photographed in its completed state before term begins next week. It’s been an intense 12 months since construction began, and there have been plenty of challenges along the way, but everyone involved can now take justified pride in the finished result.
In the cafe, the servery equipment is now all in place, and the tables and chairs add a finishing touch of high quality.
Furniture and smart boards are in position in the first floor classrooms.
The dining room extension has been finished, and the colourful new chairs and tables finish the room brilliantly.
The science block extension is ready and waiting for the start of the new term.
