As part of the public consultation process for the Avalon Marshes Wetland Centre, there will be an open day at the Lifelong Learning Centre on the Natural England site at Shapwick Road, Westhay from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm on Saturday 8 January 2011, with a presentation of the plans by Mark Richmond at 12.30pm. Representatives from Natural England, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Somerset County Council, Somerset Wildlife Trust, Hawk and Owl Trust and local conservation supporters will be available throughout the day to hear people’s views and answer questions.
