A holiday home for family and friends re-using a dilapidated barn. The conversion created a contemporary and fun place to stay. The barn is one big space under a new natural slate roof with kitchen, dining and lounge separated from the double bedroom by a storage wall and sleeping loft. The rugged external appearance was retained, with the stone walls being repaired in lime mortar set against dark powder-coated aluminium windows and timber panelling.
